2021 Webinar: Vision Systems

Friday, June 25, 2021 (10:00 AM-2:00 PM)

Members of US Helicopter Safety Team (USHST) Helicopter Safety Enhancement #91 – Vision Systems Technologies and the EUROCAE/RTCA Working Group #79/Special Committee #213 are hosting a vision systems summit comprising of operators, regulators, helicopter OEM’s, and vision systems device manufacturers. The goal of this 4-hour meeting is to generate some consensus on a path forward for safety and operational credit for vision systems technologies (i.e. enhanced flight vision systems, synthetic vision systems, enhanced vision systems, and combined vision systems, head-worn/helmet-mounted displays) for vertical flight. This meeting will be important for industry members in the offshore, air medical, and corporate/VIP segments, but are happy to have others (i.e. law enforcement) participate as well.
